Respondents Prayer :-Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue Writ of certiorarified mandamus to call for the records on the file of the 2nd respondent and the impugned notice issued under section 148 of the Income Tax Act, 1961 P.A.No.140096-P dated 28.03-2003, in respect of the petitioner's Income Tax assessment year 1997-98 and to quash the same and to further direct the 1st respondent to keep in abeyance the consequential assessment proceedings initiated under section 142(1) dated 28.07.2004.
