This petition has been filed seeking to quash the First Information Report in Crime No.266 of 2022 on the file of first respondent.

2. Heard Mr.P.Singaram, learned counsel for petitioners and Mr.A.Damodaran, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for first respondent.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that there is a case in counter in Crime Nos.265 and 266 of 2022. In both the cases, investigation has been completed and draft final report is also ready. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor further submitted that the names of A4 and A5 are going to be dropped in the final report. 2/4

4. In the light of the above submission, it will suffice to direct the first respondent police to file the final report or closure report, as the case may be, in Crime Nos.265 and 266 of 2022 within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
