O R D E R

Writ Petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st and 2nd respondents to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 06.02.2019 in the light of the orders issued in G.O.(D)No.128, MAWS Department dated 29.03.2005, in G.O.(D)No.7, MAWS Department dated 07.01.2009 and in G.O.2(D) No.96, MAWS Department, dated 22.10.2010 within the reasonable time.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate appearing for the 2nd respondent and the learned counsel appearing for the 3rd respondent. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

3. The case of the petitioner is that he was appointed as Junior Assistant on daily wage basis i.e., Non Muster Roll (NMR) worker on 22.04.1992 and his service was regularised in the year 2000. However, his service was not regularised from the date of his initial appointment. Therefore, the petitioner has made a representation dated 06.02.2019 to the 1st respondent seeking regularisation of service from the date of his initial appointment as Junior Assistant on 22.04.1992. However, the petitioner's representation was not considered by the respondents till date. Hence this writ petition.

4. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders within the reasonable time.

5. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court hereby directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.02.2019 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
