ORDER
This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to conduct the enquiry and investigate the complaint dated 08.08.2019 in C.S.R.No.572 of 2019 pending before the respondent police.

When the matter was taken up for hearing before this Court on 13.11.2019, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that the petitioner's complaint was enquired and closed by the Inspector of Police, Ashok Nagar Police Station on 17.10.2019. But the learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that as against the said Inspector of Police already the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the State Human Rights Commission and hence, the said Inspector of Police should not have dealt with the said matter.
3. Considering the said submissions, this Court has passed the following order in para No.4 reads thus:- "4. In view of this, the closure report dated 17.10.2019 is set aside. Consequently, the Assistant Commissioner of Police attached to the Ashok Nagar Police Station, is called upon to enquire into the complaint dated 08.08.2019 in accordance with law. The Deputy Commissioner of Police, T.Nagar, who is said to have territorial jurisdiction over the Ashok Nagar Police Station shall monitor such investigation on a day to day basis."

4. In view of the aforesaid order, this Court is of the view that this petition need not be kept pending. Hence, this petition is closed.
