ORDER

The above petition has been filed seeking directions to the respondent police to file charge sheet in Crime No.19 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police as expeditiously within the stipulated time fixed by this Court.

This Court by an order dated 15.11.2024, disposed of the above petition with a directions to the respondent police to file a charge sheet and the matter was directed to be listed on 20.12.2024 under the caption for "reporting compliance".

Accordingly, today the matter is listed under the caption "for reporting compliance". But, toda, when the matter is taken up for hearing, it is seen that the prosecution has not filed compliance report and hence the investigation in Cr.No.19 of 2021 is hereby transferred to CBI. The respondent police is directed to hand over all the relevant papers with regard to above crime number to the Joint Director and Head of Zone, CBI, 3rd Floor, EVK Sampath Building, College Road, Chennai - 6. The CBI is directed to conduct investigation and file Final Report before the appropriate forum as soon as possible.
