ORDER

This writ petition is filed for the following relief: "To issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the 80 recovery proceedings in RC No.S1 3192 to 3196/18, 3197 to 3199 / 18, 3952 to 3954 / 18, 4148 to 4153 / 18, 4677 to 4683 / 18, 4760/18, 5787 to 5796/18, 6220 to 6225/18, 6227 to 6231 / 18, 7224 to 7237 / 18, 7239 2/6

to 7242/18, 7455 to 7459/18, 7461, 7462, 7464/18, 7466 to 7469/18, 7575/18, 7584 to 7585/18, 7234/18, dated 06.08.2024 on the file of the 1st respondent herein shown in the Annexure to this Writ Petition and quash all the same in the light of the orders passed in W.P.Nos.20331, 20343, 20346, 20348, 20349, 20029, 20033, 20037 and 20042 of 2024, with a further direction to refund the amount already recovered.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has brought to the notice of this Court that this Court by order dated 30.10.2024 had disposed of a batch of writ petitions in W.P.Nos.20331 of 2024 etc, similar to the issue involved in this writ petition. In the said order, it has been held as follows:

"All these writ petitions were directed to be posted today based on the mentioning made by learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation to the effect that the impugned 3/6

orders that have been put to challenge in all these writ petitions have been withdrawn by virtue of the proceedings of the Senior Regional Manager, Mayiladuthurai, dated 25.10.2024. Copies of various orders passed were also placed before this Court.

Recording the above, all these writ petitions are closed since the impugned proceedings that were put to challenge in all these writ petitions have been withdrawn. If the respondent is intending to institute any fresh proceedings, the same shall be done strictly in accordance with law. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed." Hence, he prayed that the present writ petition may also be disposed of on the same lines.

3. In the light of the order passed in W.P.Nos.20331 of 2024 etc, 30.10.2024 which would enure to the facts of the case, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected 4/6

miscellaneous petition is closed.
