ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to grant electricity connection to the petitioner house situated at 10A/11, 1/4

Samundeeswari Street, Gangai Nagar, kallikuppam, Ambattur, Chennai based on the payment for new electricity connection dated 27.03.2019.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was allotted with house site under the House for all under PMAY scheme and the petitioner had constructed a house and residing there. The petitioner had made an application for new EB connection and made payment on 27.03.2019. Till date, the new service connection was not granted. Hence, this Court may direct the respondents to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation within the stipulated time as fixed by this Court.

3. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed within the time frame as fixed by this Court.

4. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

5. Considering the limited request sought for by the petitioner, this 2/4

Court directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
