This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a Mandamus, directing the second respondent to include her name in the panel of the year 2015-2016 for promotion to the post of Head Draughtsman as per the proceeding of the second respondent https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Na.Ka.K2/14475/15-2 (L.R.) dated 15.09.2015 above the name of Smt. Prema (SI.No.10) and below the name of Mr.V. Duraisamy (SI.No. 9) and accordingly, promote her to the post of Head Draughtsman from the date on which her junior was promoted with all monetary and consequential service benefits. 2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3.Though larger prayer has been sought for by the petitioner in this petition, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice to direct the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.10.2015 and dispose of the same.

4.In view of the limited scope of the prayer, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the issue involved, the second respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's representation dated 28.10.2015 on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, if any, as expeditiously as possible. 5.With the above direction , this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
