The petition is filed with a prayer to file final report in Crime No.181 of 2023.

2. When the matter came up for hearing the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) would submit that after completion of the investigation a final report has been filed on 03.12.2023 before the 1/4

learned Chief Judicial Magistrate Puducherry. However, it can be seen that the RCS notice was sent to the petitioner only belatedly in the month of November 2024. The same was also emanated only from the Superintendent of Police.

3. Considering the allegations that are made in the case, it is deemed that the petitioner is served with RCS notice only today. The petitioner can file such objection petition before the trial court and the trial court shall look into the same and pass orders in accordance with law. Accordingly, this Criminal Original petition is disposed of. 07.08.2025 RAP NCC : Yes / No 2/4
