This petition is filed to quash the complaint instituted against the petitioner who is none other than the daughter of the defacto complainant. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner states that due to some misunderstanding among the family members, the father and daughter had picked up quarrel which has led to registration of the impugned FIR. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that investigation already completed and draft final report is ready and within reasonable time it will be filed.

4.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that now the petitioner and the defacto complainant had arrived at settlement and they want to live amicably.

5.If it is so, the respondent police is directed to issue Section 41A summons to both the defacto complainant and accused and enquire them and thereafter, take a decision whether final report to be filed or close the complaint as action dropped. The said exercise shall be completed within a period of fifteen days, from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 6.This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
