Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 2nd respondent herein to dispose petitioner appeal petition dated 29.08.2019 challenging the impugned order dated 30.07.2019 in Na.Ka.G2/1617/2019 of the 3rd respondent.

O R D E R

The petitioner herein has filed a writ petition seeking Mandamus to dispose of the representation dated 29.08.2019. The said representation given to the District Collector pursuant to the rejection of the petitioner's request to assign patta.

2. Today, the learned Government Advocate submits that the representation of the petitioner for assigning patta in respect of the land in Survey No.219/1A5, Murugapadi Village, Polur Taluk was considered by the 2nd respondent and after field inspection, it is found that the said land is classified as 'Tharisu Poramboke' and the said land is not in possession of the petitioner and the said Survey Number has been assigned to Commercial Tax Department, prison Department, Horticulture Department, Forest Department and Judiciary and Civil Supplies. In the said circumstances, the Revenue Divisional Officer has

communicated the same to the petitioner herein that the request of the petitioner to assign patta in the said survey number is not possible, his request was rejected vide order dated 09.11.2019.

3. In the light of the action taken by the 2nd respondent on the representation of the petitioner, nothing survives in this writ petition and the same is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
