ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondents not to harass the petitioner with respect to the civil disputes pending before the civil courts.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there is a civil dispute between the petitioner and one Vidya; on this account, civil suits are also pending before the Civil Courts; in the meanwhile, on the complaint given by the said Vidya, the petitioner is being called for enquiry with the police; hence the petitioner has filed this petition not to harass him in the name of enquiry, as the matter is civil in nature.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents submitted that the complaint given by the said Vidya against the petitioner has been assigned in C.S.R.No.99 of 2022 and the enquiry has been conducted; since the respondent police came to know that it is only a land dispute and the matter is civil in nature, the petition is closed and the closure report has also been served on the petitioner.

5. In view of the above development, nothing survives for further consideration in this petition. Therefore, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed.
