The petition has been filed seeking Succession Certificate of the securities in the name of A.R.Margabandhu who died intestate on 24.01.2000.

2. The mother of A.R.Margabandhu had predeceased him and the mother of the petitioners / wife of A.R.Margabandhu also predeceased him. This is reflected in the legal heir certificate which has been produced as Ex.P2.

3. After following the due procedure, the petitioners were directed to tender evidence. Accordingly, the first petitioner examined himself as P.W.1. The death certificate and legal heir certificate of A.R.Margabandhu were marked as Exs.P1 & P2. The documents relating to the share certificate was marked as Ex.P6.

4. Taking into consideration the nature of the evidence recorded and the documents produced, this Original Petition stands allowed. and the Succession Certificate shall be issued in favour of the petitioners, with power to collect the securities and to receive the interest and dividends thereon and negotiate and transfer the securities specified in the Schedule hereunder on payment of appropriate succession duty, if not paid earlier. 2/4
