Prayer : Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider petitioner's representation dated 04.11.2024 consequently direct the respondent to remove the encroachment in the Government Road bearing S.No.61/1 in Kanakakiri Village, Sankagiri Taluk, Salem District.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Since, after filing of public interest litigation, official respondents have conducted survey and based on survey, notices have already been issued for removal of encroachment on public road, we are not inclined to proceed further in the matter, as, the purpose of filing public interest litigation has been served.
2. The proceedings initiated, upon issuance of notice, shall be brought to its logical conclusion, by passing appropriate orders, preferably within a period of three months positively, without granting unnecessary adjournment to any of the parties.
