This petition has been filed to call for the records relating to the proceedings of the FIR in Crime No.441 of 2017 for the offences under Sections 294(b) and 506 (2) of IPC on the file of the Inspector of Police, Rasipuram Police Station, Namakkal District, quash the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the first respondent.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the first respondent completed the investigation and filed a final report only for the offence under Section 294(b) of IPC in FR No.799 of 2017 before the concerned Judicial Magistrate, Rasipuram and it is pending for taking cognizance. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous.

4. Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
