Prayer: Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of Contempt of Courts Act, 1971, to punish the respondents for committing contempt of Court by not obeying the interim order of this Hon'ble Court in W.P.No.7817 of 2022 and W.P.No.7823 of 2022 dated 20.04.2022 and same being extended till date by this Hon'ble Court. ORDER

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted before this Court that the petitioner has been paid salary till June, 2022 and thereafter, without any notice, payment of salary has been stopped. Therefore, petitioner has made a request for payment of salary during the period from July, 2022 till April, 2023 .

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has further submitted that the petitioner was working at Puducherry. Now, she has joined at Karaikal and continues to work in the said place.

3. The learned Senior Counsel appearing for the respondent University has fairly submitted before this Court that the request for payment of salary during the period from July, 2022 till April, 2023 will be considered as per the law and appropriate orders will be passed within a period of four weeks'.

4. Recording the aforesaid submission made by learned Senior Counsel, the contempt petition is closed.
