COMMON ORDER Since these contempt petitions have emanated from the common order dated 28.09.2021 passed in W.A. Nos.930 and 931 of 2021 respectively, they are considered and decided by this common order.

Today, when the contempt petitions were taken up for hearing, it was represented by Mr.S.Silambanan, learned Additional Advocate General - II that the Supreme Court, in Civil Appeal Nos.1920 and 1921 of 2023 arising out of S.L.P. (C) Nos.5694 and 5695 of 2023, which were filed by the State assailing the correctness of the common order dated 28.09.2021, alleging noncompliance of which, these contempt petitions have been filed, has passed orders on 21.03.2023 as under: "10.

Consequently, the appeals are allowed in part, the impugned judgment dated 28.09.2021 is set aside and the matter is remitted to the Division Bench of the High Court to ascertain the correct facts from the parties and, thereafter, pass an appropriate order as it may deem fit. 11.

The parties are directed to appear before the High Court on 25.04.2023.

We request the High Court to decide the writ appeals expeditiously."

Inasmuch as W.A. Nos.930 and 931 of 2021 have been restored on file by the aforesaid order passed by the Supreme Court, it is open to the parties to make a mention before the Division Bench having roster to deal with service matters, for getting the said writ appeals listed.
