(Made by P.N.PRAKASH,J) On 03.11.2022, this Court passed the following order: "The Registry is directed to verify as to whether the petitioner herein has filed another appeal through some other counsel challenging his conviction and sentence by judgment and order dated 05.09.2018 passed in S.C.No.87 of 2017 on the file of the III Additional District and Sessions Court, Erode @ Gopichettipalayam and place a report before this Court on 25.11.2022.

The Registry is also directed to call for a report from the trial Court as to whether the material objects and original records are available in S.C.No.87 of 2017.

Post the matter on 25.11.2022."

Pursuant to the above order, the Registry has received a communication dated 18.11.2022 from the trial Court, wherein, it is stated that the original records and the material objects in S.C.No.87 of 2017 are available.

The Registry has also put up a note dated 22.11.2022, wherein, it is stated that the appellant herein has not filed any appeal through another counsel.

Accepting the reasons, stated in the affidavit filed in support of this petition, the delay of 700 days in filing the above appeal is condoned.
