ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the complaint dated 07.02.2016, investigate the same and take further actions in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner is an accused in Crime No.194 of 2016 for offences under Sections 147, 148, 341, 294(b), 324 & 506(ii) IPC. As a counter blast, the petitioner sent a complaint to the Chief Minister Cell and the same has been forwarded to the Superintendent of Police, Thiruvannamalai.

4. Under such circumstances, no positive directions can be issued to the respondent police to register an FIR on the complaint dated 07.02.2016 given by the petitioner. However, liberty is given to the petitioner to go in person and lodge a fresh compliant before the second respondent along with original wound certificates and on receipt of such complaint, the same https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

shall be enquired into and action be taken thereon in accordance with law, if it discloses the commission of a cognizable offence or drop action otherwise.

With the above said observation and direction, the criminal original petition is closed.
