O R D E R
This revision case has been filed against the order passed by the XV Metropolitan Magistrate, George Town, Chennai, dated 07.06.2016 and the same was confirmed by the II Additional Sessions Judge, Chennai, dated 27.01.2017.
2. After the arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner filed a Memorandum stating that in pursuance of the order passed by this Court, dated 21.04.2017, the petitioner has paid the entire arrears amount of maintenance to the tune of Rs.2,55,000/- to the respondent and is paying a sum of Rs.10,000/- per month without any arrears. He would also submit that the petitioner is prepared to pay a sum of Rs.15,000/- p.m. as ordered by the lower Court to the respondent till the disposal of the suit in O.S.No.92 of 2016 on the file of the Family Court, Chennai, which was filed by the 1st respondent/wife, challenging the talaq pronounced by the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
petitioner herein.
3.The learned counsel for the respondent has accepted the Memorandum dated 28.09.2018 duly signed by the petitioner as well as the counsel for the petitioner.
4.In view of the submissions on either side, this Criminal Revision Case is closed with a direction to the petitioner to pay a sum of Rs.15,000/- per month, as maintenance to the respondent without prejudice to his right, in O.S.No.92 of 2016 on the file of the Family Court, Chennai, on or before 5th every English Calendar Month. After disposal of the said suit, liberty is granted to the petitioner to work his remedy in accordance with law. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
