The writ petition has been filed for directing the second respondent to take appropriate action as per the letter issued by the first respondent, in his Letter No.24855/U2/2017 dated 06.06.2017, in respect of the petitioner's complaint dated 27.05.2017, within the stipulated time.
2. The application to cancel the documents was filed based on the Circular Number.67 issued by the Government. However, the said Circular No.67 has been withdrawn by the Government and therefore, the authorities competent cannot decide the issues pertaining to cancellation of documents. An amendment was effected by inserting Section 77-A of the Registration Act for cancelling the documents registered fraudulently or by way of impersonation. If at all the petitioner is aggrieved, he is at liberty to approach the competent authorities under the provisions of the Registration Act in the manner known to law.
