Mr.Rama Durai (Guard II PC) and two other police officials of S-12, Chitalapakkam Police, who were involved in such unruly act for the abuse of their powers and brutal attack on the petitioner for no offence committed by him.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to register an FIR based on the complaint preferred by the petitioner dated 24.11.2015.

2. When the matter is taken up for consideration, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner is an accused in Crime No.2437 of 2015 for offences under Section 4(i)(j) Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act r/w 75 of City https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Police Act and after completing the investigation, the respondent police filed a final report in S.T.C.No.536 of 2016 on 22.02.2016 before the jurisdictional Magistrate. As a counter blast, the petitioner has given a present complaint against the police officers for conducting investigation. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor also produced a copy of the FIR and final report.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor further submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, the petition enquiry was conducted and the same was closed. A copy of the closure report is furnished to the learned counsel for the petitioner across the bar.

Recording the same, the criminal original petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to workout his remedy in the manner known to law.
