COMMON JUDGMENT These first appeals have been filed by the State, being aggrieved by the enhanced compensation awarded by the Land Acquisition Tribunal.
2. When the cases were taken up for consideration, the learned Special Government Pleader submitted that the State has decided to withdraw the appeal and comply with the award passed by the Tribunal. Pursuant to that, the award amount has already been deposied in the Tribunal for the claimants to withdraw the same. Government Order in G.O.(4D)No.2, Water Development (K2) Department, dated 16.02.2023 indicates that in respect of the compensation awarded by the Sub Court, Vellore, in respect of L.A.O.P.No.519 of 2013 etc., the State has sanctioned a sum of Rs.16,23,13,868/- and the Revenue Divisional Officer has been directed to deposit the said amount in the L.A.O.Ps. Account to enable the claimants to withdraw the same.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader also furnished a statement containing details about the deposit of amount under the respective claim petitions and bank statement for deposit of the amount in the LAOPs account.
4. In the light of the above fact, since the Government has deposited the enhanced award amount and not interested in pursuing the appeals, these First Appeals are hereby dismissed. The respecive claimants are at liberty to file an appropriate application before the Tribunal and withdraw the money as per the award along with accured interest whatsoever.
