The petitioner, who is arrayed as 18th accused, apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 447, 294(b), 323, 324, 307 and 506(ii) of IPC r/w Section 3 of TNPPDL Act, in Crime No.125 of 2016 on the file of the respondent police and hence, seeks anticipatory bail.

The case of the prosecution is that due to wordy quarrel, the petitioner and other accused alleged to have attacked the de-facto complainant with iron rod and caused injury and also damaged the property. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is innocent and he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. It is further submitted that the co-accused have already been granted anticipatory bail by this Court in Crl.O.,P.No.7323 of 2016 dated 11.04.2016. 4.The learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondent submitted that it is a case and counter case and the injured has been discharged from the hospital and the petitioner has no previous case. rrg 5.Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case and also considering the fact that the injured has been discharged from the hospital, this Court is inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner with certain conditions.

6. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail in the event of his arrest or on his appearance before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Madhuranthagam, and on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Magistrate concerned and the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10.00 am., until further orders. The petitioner shall comply with the condition stipulated under Section 438 Cr.P.C. scrupulously.

7.The petitioner shall appear before the concerned Magistrate within a period of 15 days from the date on which the order copy made ready, failing which, the petition for anticipatory bail stands dismissed. rrg 2 6. 0 4. 2 0 1 6 Crl.O.P.No. 9 4 4 4 of 2 0 1 6
