ORDER

The petitioner is present.

2. The respondent is absent. However, the learned counsel for the respondent appeared through video conferencing.

3. The petitioner seeks transfer of the case on the ground that she is presently serving as a Judicial Officer and is working at Vandavasi. She is residing with her two children and is unable to travel for the court hearings. It is

submitted that she has already filed proceedings before the Court at Thanjavur. The respondent is also residing at Thanjavur and is employed in a private law college.

4. It is further submitted that mediation was already attempted between the parties; however, the same ended in failure. As on date, the petitioner is living with her two children. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to transfer the matter to the Family Court, Villupuram.

5. The learned Trial Judge, upon receipt of the records, is directed to take the matter on file within a period of two weeks, issue notice to the parties, proceed with the matter, and dispose of the same within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. The respondent is also directed to cooperate with the proceedings. It is specifically made clear that the respondent shall not cause any annoyance or disturbance to the petitioner at her workplace. In the event of any deviation by the respondent, the same shall be viewed seriously by this Court and appropriate action shall be taken against him.

7. In view of the above observations, this petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. 11-06-2026 Index: Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order MPA To
