This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the first respondent Police to transfer the case in Crime No.626 of 2016 dated 04.04.2016 from the fourth respondent to some other investigation officer or CBCID or some other investigation agencies.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.
3. It is seen that the petitioner's son is an I.T., professional and that he was in love with one Fathima Naveen, and on account of love failure, he committed suicide, jumping from his office. Now, it is alleged by the petitioner that the girl's relatives are responsible for the suicide of the petitioner's son.
4. In the considered opinion of this Court, in the case of this nature, it is not desirable to rope in and implicate every person just because the petitioner's son had committed suicide without being able to face the world with courage. Under such circumstances, it is not a fit case to transfer the investigation. However, the Investigating Officer shall also look into the materials placed by the petitioner during the course of investigation and take action in accordance with law.
4. With the above direction , this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
