PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to call for the records in C.C.No.74 of 2016 in Crime No.535 of 2015 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Namakkal, quash the final report filed by the 1st respondent police.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceeding laid down in C.C.No.74 of 2016, pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate-I, Namakkal.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.R.Kishore Kumar, learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the first respondent and the learned counsel appearing for the second respondent. Perused the materials available on record.

3. As the final report has already been filed, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks indulgence of this Court to dispense with the personal appearance of the petitioner before the trial Court.

4. Accordingly, personal appearance of the petitioner is dispensed with, except for answering the charges, receiving copies, 313 questioning or on any other date that may be fixed by the trial Court. The Trial Court is directed to dispose of C.C.No.74 of 2016, pending on its file, as expeditiously as possible.

5. In view of the above observation and direction, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
