O R D E R

The Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is filed against the fair and decreetal order dated 15.07.2019 passed in I.A.No.2 of 2019 in O.S.No.211 of 2019 by the Principal District Judge, Namakkal.

2. The plaintiff is the appellant, who instituted a suit in O.S.No.211 of 2019. The relief is for declaration of election as null and void and for other reliefs. Along with the suit, the appellant filed an interlocutory application in I.A.No.2 of 2019 for ad-interim injunction restraining the defendant from assuming charge and functioning as Secretary of the first defendant Society. The Trial Court elaborately considered the issues and rejected the interlocutory application. 3.

Though the trial Court rejected the interlocutory application, an interim order was granted by this Court in the present appeal. In view of the fact that this Court granted the interim order, the parties to the civil suits are directed to maintain status quo till the disposal of the original suit and the Trial Court is directed to dispose of the main suit as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of one year from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. With these directions, the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
