ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Acting Chief Justice) Alleging that the third respondent and several others have encroached on the water channel existing at SF.Nos.29/1B1 and 29/1B2 of Thammampatti Village, Gangavalli Taluk, Salem District, the petitioner sent a representation to the respondent authorities on 28.05.2024. As the said representation did not evoke any response, the present writ petition is filed.

2. Considering the narrow scope of the relief sought in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 28.5.2024 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, of course after affording an opportunity to all the interested persons, including the third respondent. The entire exercise shall be concluded within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order

as to costs.
