Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 herein to remove the encroachment by respondents 5 to 7 in Highway Department land situated in Sr.No.564, Thekkalur Village, Avinashi Taluk, Tirupur District, within a time frame fixed by this Court.

[Order of this Court was made by R.SUBBIAH, J.] The petitioner has come up with the present Writ Petition for a mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 herein to remove the encroachment by respondents 5 to 7 in Highway Department land situated in Sr.No.564, Thekkalur Village, Avinashi Taluk, Tirupur District.

2. Today, when the Petition is taken up for consideration, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the first respondent / National Highway Authority of India submitted that, the encroachment had already been removed from National Highway land on 11.12.2019. In support of his submission, he has produced a copy of the letter dated 12.12.2019 and the same has also published in the newspaper.

3. In view of the submission made by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the first respondent / National Highway Authority of India, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
