ORDER
The petitioner is a consumer of High Tension electricity, and she has been slapped both consumption charges and penalty for excess drawal of energy beyond the permitted load.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has already purchased necessary demand draft for a sum of Rs.4,33,835.27 in favour of the respondent concerned, towards payment of consumption charges vis-a-vis, the excess energy consumed, and only seeks a direction to the authority to receive the penalty imposed, in some easy installments. 3.1 Mr.L.Jai Venkatesh, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the respondents, and made a statement that the electricity supply to the petitioner's unit has been disconnected today, and subject to the petitioner making payment for consumption charges, it will be restored. 2/4
3.2 Turning to the payment of penalty is concerned, the learned counsel again on instructions submitted that TANGEDCO is ready to receive the said sum in four installments.
4. This Court now directs the petitioner to pay the penalty amount of Rs.22,35,713.90 in four monthly installments to commence from October, 2023. Each installments must be paid on or before 15th of each month, in which the installments become payable.
