(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) On 16.08.2024, this Court was pleased to permit the Recovery Officer to proceed with the auction, but not confirm the sale until further orders of the Court. Pursuant thereto, auction was conducted and the successful bidder is one 'Avenue Supermarts Limited' (ASL), who has filed this miscellaneous petition to be joined as a party to the writ petition.

2. Mr.Srinath Sridevan, learned senior counsel appearing for writ petitioner, states that this application may be allowed without prejudice to writ petitioner's rights and contentions in the matter.
