PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the second respondent herein to give Police Protection to the petitioner and his family members based on the representation dated 09.09.2023 given to the 1st respondent. The petitioner herein has some dispute with his elder son, to whom they have settled the property measuring 56 cents and he in turn, sold the same to https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis Page No.1/2

Crl.O.P.No.22096 of 2023 some third party. Already the petitioner has given a complaint to the Collector under the Senior Citizen Protection Act, 2007. While so, a complaint has been given to the Police alleging that his son Mohanraj is frequently visiting his house and disturbing their peaceful living. Hence, he wants police protection.

2. Though there is a prima facie allegation against his son, the intention of giving this complaint and filing this petition seeking police protection appears to be something else. If any specific allegation or incident which are cognizable comes to the notice of the police, the police shall act properly in accordance with law.
