ORDER

Seeking a direction to the respondent to register the First Information Report based on the complaint dated 17.04.2016, the petitioner has come up with this petition. 2.On reading of the complaint dated 17.04.2016, it is alleged by the petitioner that one Ganesan has taken a chit from the petitioner and that he has to pay a sum of Rs.9,38,900/-, which was refused to give. However, the respondent police has conducted enquiry and during the course of enquiry, the said Ganesan appeared before the respondent police and undertook to repay the amount to the petitioner. The said transaction essentially appears to be civil in nature. Hence, no positive direction can be issued to the respondent to register an FIR. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition is closed, with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedies in the manner known to law.
