ORDER
The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 296(b), 352, 356(2) of the BNS, 2023 read with 67 of Information Technology Act, 2000 in Crime No.244 of 2025 on the file of respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.
2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner who is the president of Nadar Community, posted a message in the social media with obscene words in a way degrading a political leader along with morphed photograph. Hence, this case.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution and he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that there is a counter cast against the defacto complainant. Hence, he prayed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for respondent raised objections by stating that the petitioner posted a message in the social media with obscene words in a way degrading a political leader along with morphed photograph.
5. Considering the nature of offence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
