O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records pertaining to the proceedings in S.T.C.No.607 of 2024 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.I at Perambalur and quash the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondent and perused the materials available on record.

3. It is the contention of the petitioner that he has given the cheque to one Venkatesan not to the respondent. But the respondent has given a false complaint as against the petitioner.

4. The petitioner admitted the signature of the cheque. The defence taken by the petitioner are matter for trial and the same can be decided only after trial not at this stage. Hence, this Court is not inclined to allow this petition.

5.In view of the same, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to take all his defence before the trial court. 10.01.2025 mfa Index:Yes/No Speaking Order: Yes/No
