ORDER

(Made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.) This habeas corpus petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the second respondent to produce her minor daughter Siva Sakthi, aged about 16 years, from the illegal custody of the third respondent, before this Court and hand over the custody to the petitioner. 2.

It is the case of the petitioner her daughter Siva Sakthi @ Sania, aged about 16 years, went missing from 04.10.2022 and that the police are not taking effective steps to secure her.

Today, E.Chandrasekaran (Mobile No.94981 46220), SubInspector of Police, Chengalpattu Town Police Station, Chengalpattu District, is present.

On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on a complaint given by Nagaraj, husband of the petitioner, a case in Chengalpattu Town Police Station Crime No.467 of 2022 was registered on 04.10.2022 for "girl-missing" and the police secured Siva Sakthi @ Sania today morning. He connected us via Whatsapp video call to speak to Sania.

We find that Siva Sakthi @ Sania is in the company of the police, as they are taking her to produce before the Judicial Magistrate Court No.I, Chengalpattu District, in connection with Chengalpattu Town Police Station Crime No.467 of 2022.
