ORDER

By consent of both parties, the present writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

2. The petitioner has made a representation to the respondents on 22.06.2016 seeking issuance of patta in his name, in respect of the land measuring to an extent of 3.23 acres situate at Paylalam Village, which was obtained by way of gift deed dated 15.02.2007 as he has been in possession of the property and he has been paying the property tax for the said land. But, the said representation has

not been considered by the respondents. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Considering the pendency of the petitioner's representation and without going into the merits of the case, the first respondent is directed to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 22.06.2016, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible.

4. With the above direction, the present Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
