PRAYER : Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Mandamus, to direct the first respondent to forthwith give police protection to the petitioner and her family members to continue with the construction works in her land S.No.137/14A of Vanagaram Village, Poonamallee Taluk, Tiruvallur District comes under Greater Corporation of Chennai.

ORDER

The petitioner alleges that while putting up constructions, his brother and other unknown persons interfering and disturbing, hence, he needs Police Protection. Unless and until, a specific information is given to the Police, it is difficult for the Police to act upon. If any such information is given by the petitioner, the same may be considered and appropriate action may be taken in accordance with law. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed.
