Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records in connection with the order of detention passed by the second respondent dated 29.08.2024 in D.O.No.C2/51/2024 against the petitioner's husband Thangaraj, Male, aged 38 years, S/o Mottaiyan, who is confined at Central Prison, Cuddalore and set aside the same and direct the respondents to produce the detenu before the Honble Court and set him at liberty. Mr.E.Raj Thilak, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondents made a submission that the impugned order of detention has already been revoked by the competent authority and thus, no further adjudication needs to be undertaken.
