When the matter was taken up for admission, the learned Special Counsel appearing for the third respondent would fairly submit that the petitioner may be permitted to participate in the MBBS counselling under SC quota, subject to the genuinenss of the community certificate.

2. In view of the above submission, without going to the merits of this Writ Petition, this Court deems it appropriate to direct the respondents to permit the petitioner to participate in the MBBS counselling under SC quota. However, the benefit of this order shall enure to the petitioner only if the genuineness of the community certificate is established. 2/4

3. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs. 01.08.2025 kv Note: Issue order copy on 04.08.2025.
