JUDGMENT

[Judgment of the Court was delivered by R.MAHADEVAN, J.] Challenging the order dated 30.08.2022 passed by the learned Judge in W.P.No.38530 of 2015, the present appeal has been filed by the appellant. 2.

When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents drew the attention of this Court to the proceedings dated 08.08.2023 in Na.Ka.No.7879/C2/E1/2015 and submitted that subsequent to the order passed by the Apex Court in Special Leave to Appeal (C) Nos.19250 & 22009 of 2022 on 17.04.2023, the suspension order dated 08.12.2022 issued under Rule 17(e) of the Tamil Nadu Civil Services (Discipline And Appeal) Rules, 1955, against the appellant has been revoked without prejudice to the departmental proceedings, if any and he has been reinstated into service as Deputy Inspector of Schools at Tiruvannamalai and that, his transfer order to the post of B.T. Assistant (Tamil) at Brammadesam Government Higher Secondary School has also been revoked. Thus, according to the learned counsel, nothing survives for further adjudication herein. 2/4

At this juncture, the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the appellant sought liberty to the appellant to approach the authorities concerned for any other relief.

Recording the submissions so made on the side of the respondents, the writ appeal stands closed, granting such liberty to the appellant. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
