ORDER

(Order of the Court was delivered by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.) When the matter was listed for hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent submitted that, pursuant to the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.21638/2019, dated 07.11.2022, final order has been passed by the Officer concerned, Wakf Board, vide order dated 15.03.2023, for removal of the unauthorized construction. Further, to comply the above order of removal of unauthorized construction, passed by the Wakf Board, the respondent has made a representation to the Inspector of Police, Kattumannarkoil Police Station, Cuddalore District, vide letter dated, 06.06.2023 to give police protection, during removal of unauthorized construction. Therefore, the order of the Writ Court has been complied with and necessary action has been taken for removal of the unauthorized construction. The above letter dated 06.06.2023 has also been placed before this Court.

2. Recording the statement made by the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent, this contempt petition is closed. If any delay on the part of the respondent in removing the unauthorized construction, it is for the petitioner to take appropriate action in the manner known to law. (D.K.K.J.)
