ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of 1/5
Mandamus to direct the respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 06.04.2022 within the time stipulated by this Court.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that her parents settled the property of an extent of 1 ground 1415 sq.ft. situated in Kilpuak, Chennai including 840 sq.ft. reserved for future widening of Mandapam Road in favour of the petitioner. Thereafter, the petitioner sent letters dated 20.12.2010 and 08.03.2012 to the Tahsildar, Egmore to issue patta in respect of the above said property in favour of the petitioner. But the same was not considered by the Tahsildar, Egmore. While so, petitioner filed a writ petition in W.P.No.17392 of 2012 before this Court, pursuant to the order dated 12.08.2021 of this Court passed in the above said writ petition, the Tahsildar, Egmore rejected the petitioner's claim seeking patta for the above said extent. Hence the petitioner preferred an appeal dated 06.04.2022 before the respondent. Since the same was not considered, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking the aforesaid relief.
3. Though very many grounds have been raised in this Writ Petition, 2/5
learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that it would suffice if this Court issues direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 06.04.2022 and pass appropriate orders within a particular time frame to be fixed by this Court.
4. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent has no objection for the said order being passed.
5. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's appeal dated 06.04.2022 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as aggrieved persons, if any, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/5
7. With the above observation and directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
