This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for direction directing the first respondent to grant the benefit of set off for a period from 16.03.2016 to 11.07.2016 undergone at Government Observation Home, Kellys (2nd respondent herein) and from 13.07.2016 to 12.09.2016 undergone at Government Observation Home, Thanjavur (3rd respondent herein) by the petitioner in Cr.No.512 of 2016 on the file of the 4th respondent.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition. The learned counsel has also made an endorsement in the Court bundle, today, to that effect.
