O R D E R

The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to direct the second respondent to conclude the Conciliation proceedings in the industrial disputes raised by the petitioner union on 27.06.2016 in accordance with law, under section 12(6) of Industrial Disputes Act, 1947 and in the event of failure, forward the report to the first respondent for further direction.

2. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner now brought to the notice of this Court that the Conciliation Officer concluded the proceedings and submitted his failure report on 05.12.2016.

3. Thus, the first respondent shall consider the report submitted by the Concilation Officer and pass an appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, as early as possible, preferably within 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.
