The petitioner/A1 in Crime No.26 of 2023 registered for the offences under Sections 3(2)a, 4(1), 5(1)a, 6(1)a and 7(1)a of Immoral Traffic Prevention Act, 1956, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. It is stated that the petitioner is running a brothel house at Mahatma Gandhi Nagar, Chennai. Raid was conducted and one victim girl had been saved. It is also stated that the 2nd accused is working under A1.

3. Hence, this anticipatory bail petition is dismissed.

4. It is seen from the records that an earlier anticipatory bail application was dismissed on 09.08.2023. Even though, this anticipatory bail stands dismissed, the matter is to be listed on 16.10.2023 calling explanation from the investigation officer that why the accused has, still not been taken into custody, when the anticipatory bail petition was dismissed on 09.08.2023.

5. It is also directed that, if this Court is not satisfied with the explanation of the investigation order, appropriate orders will be passed against the investigation officer.

List the matter on 16.10.2023.
