O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed forbearing the respondents or their men, agents from interfering with any manner with the peaceful conduct of business i.e. cross massage in the name and style of "Ever Green Ayurvedic SPA", at No.1/17, East Coast Road, Kottivakkam, Chennai - 600 041.

The petitioner's case is that he is carrying on business in the name and style of ""Ever Green Ayurvedic SPA", at No.1/17, East Coast Road, Kottivakkam, Chennai - 600 041 and the petitioner is running the centre following the principle of massage in Ayurveda, a Kerala Traditional Treatment, which cures may illness in the body including the nervous disorder in a slow phase process. There is no law regulating these kind of business under any of the provisions of the City Police Act. While so, the respondent https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

officials are interfering with the business of the petitioner and they are threatening the petitioner to close the business of the petitioner. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present Writ Petition.

3. The learned Special Government Pleader has filed a report on behalf of the second respondent stating that when the officials went to above said address, it was found closed. He further submitted that one previous case is pending as against the petitioner in the second respondent police station.

4. When the matter came up for hearing on 23.11.2016, there is no representation for the petitioner. Hence this Writ Petition has been posted today under the caption 'for dismissal'. Today also there is no representation for the petitioner. Further the learned Special Government Pleader also submitted that one previous case is pending as against the petitioner.

5. In such view of the matter, the prayer as sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted. Hence, this Writ Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
