This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent police to register the petitioner's complaint dated 25.03.2016 and investigate the case on the basis of the said complaint.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. 3.
It is represented by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the petitioner lodged a complaint with the second respondent police; on the said complaint, the petition enquiry is pending and the petitioner is not co-operating in the enquiry.

The petitioner is directed to appear before the second respondent police and co-operate in the enquiry and during the course of enquiry, if any cognizable offence is made out, a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
regular case shall be registered, in accordance with the law laid down by the Honourable Apex Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [(2014) 4 SCC 1], otherwise, the petition may be closed under intimation to the petitioner. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
