ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to file the final report in Crime No.223 of 2014 within the time stipulated by this Court.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he was induced by the accused that he would get a job for the petitioner in TASMAC as a supervisor and believing the words of the accused, he had deposited a sum of Rs.1,21,300/- in the account of the accused. However, the accused neither got a job for the petitioner nor returned the money. In this regard, the petitioner had lodged a complaint before respondent and the same has been registered in Crime No.223 of 2024 for the offence under section 420 of IPC. The grievance of the petitioner is that though the case has been registered in the year 2024, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, the present petition for the aforesaid relief.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the investigation is in progress and they will complete investigation and file the final report expeditiously.

4. In such view of the matter, the respondent is directed to expedite investigation and file the final report expeditiously.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
